The Price Group of Companies has announced a major expansion of its Winnipeg manufacturing headquarters that will create 150 new jobs over the next five years.

Company chairman and CEO Gerry Price told dignitaries and media attending a morning news conference the 50,000-square-foot expansion will include a new state-of-the-art training facility and sophisticated testing areas, along with increased manufacturing capacity.

The Manitoba government will provide a $10-million repayable loan and a $1.5 million grant to help train the new workers needed for the expansion.

The City of Winnipeg will provide tax incentives of up to $800,000 over the next 15 years.

The Price Group of Companies is North America's largest manufacturer of air distribution, heating, cooling and ventilation equipment for the non-residential sector.
