Winnipeg's WTC to launch tomorrow

Winnipeg’s new branch of the World Trade Centre will be officially launched tomorrow at Centrallia with Eric Dahl, CEO of the New York-based World Trade Centers Association, in attendance.

Mariette Mulaire is the new president and CEO of the WTC, a new trade development agency.

Mulaire’s current organization, ANIM, the province’s bilingual trade organization, will transition to become the WTC.

The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce is the host organization for the WTC Winnipeg.

The new board is:

  • Raymond Lafond, chair;
  • André Granger, Westeel;
  • Bernard Clément, Pembcorp Automotive Group;
  • Jean-Pierre Parenty, Parenty Reitmeier Inc.;
  • Jean-Marc Ruest, Richardson International Limited;
  • Alexander Malaket, Opus Advisory Services International Inc.;
  • Don Boitson, Magellan Aerospace;
  • Diane Gray, CentrePort Canada Inc.;
  • Charlie Spiring, National Bank Financial;
  • Leo Ledohowski, Canad Inns;
  • Fiona Mourant-Webster, Manrex Ltd.; and
  • Albert El Tassi of Peerless Garments.
