Airports in China, the Middle East are among the fastest growing since 2006

Here's a look at the world's 10 fastest-growing airports, how many passengers they handled in 2011 and the per cent increase in traffic since 2006.

Chongqing, China: 19.1 million, 137 per cent

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: 12.4 million, 134 per cent

Xi'an, China: 21.2 million, 126 per cent

Xiamen, China: 15.8 million, 110 per cent

Sao Paulo: 30.4 million, 83 per cent

New Delhi: 35 million, 81 per cent

Chengdu, China: 29.1 million, 79 per cent

Dubai, United Arab Emirates: 51 million, 77 per cent

Moscow: 22.6 million, 77 per cent

Hangzhou, China: 17.5 million, 77 per cent
