The authors, an owner and a member of Caliper Corp., a world-wide human capital corporation, offer their advice resulting from over 50 years of experience in executive search, team development and succession planning. This book reflects on their view of 19 key qualities exhibited by successful leaders around the world. Each chapter then expands on these qualities and utilizes individual stories to demonstrate how these qualities have been applied. The book is well written and well laid out. However, many of the individuals given as examples are not well known to Canadian readers which distracts from the overall messages the authors are trying to deliver.
