Tuesday -- in Ottawa, the Bank of Canada makes an interest rate announcement. In Toronto, the Bank of Montreal releases its fourth-quarter results before markets open. In New York, Canadian Pacific hosts a two-day investor conference and webcast (www.cpr.ca) to unveil a new operating plan and Rogers Communications Inc. will participate in the UBS Global Media and Communications Conference.

Wednesday -- in Toronto, Scotiabank holds its 2013-14 Economic and Market Outlook Conference. In Montreal, Laurentian Bank releases its fourth-quarter results during market hours.

Thursday -- in Montreal, printer and publisher Transcontinental Inc. and National Bank of Canada release fourth-quarter results and Dollarama Inc. releases its third-quarter results. In Toronto, the TD Bank, CIBC, Biox Corp. report their fourth-quarter results. Also in Toronto, WestJet Airlines hosts an investor day and Harry Winston Diamond Corp. will release third-quarter results.
