Tuesday -- In Ottawa, Statistics Canada releases the Canadian international merchandise trade figures for October. In Toronto, Bank of Canada governor Mark Carney speaks to the CFA Society Toronto on global and Canadian economies and the stability of the global financial system.

Wednesday -- Statistics Canada releases job vacancies for September and international investment position for the third quarter.

Thursday -- In Ottawa, Statistics Canada releases the industrial capacity utilization rates for the third quarter, the financial flow and national balance sheet accounts for the third quarter and the new housing price index for October.

Friday -- In Ottawa, Statistics Canada releases the monthly survey of manufacturing for October. In Winnipeg, North West Company Inc. holds a conference call with analysts to discuss its third-quarter financial results.
