Today -- In Ottawa, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corp. releases preliminary housing-start data for May. In Vancouver, Lululemon Athletica will release its first-quarter results.

Tuesday -- In Calgary, Gas and Oil Expo 2013 begins. In Washington, U.S. Commerce Department releases wholesale trade inventories for April and the Labour Department releases job openings and labour turnover survey for April.

Wednesday -- In Ottawa, Statistics Canada releases information on digital technology and Internet use in 2012. In Toronto, Hudson's Bay Co. will report its first-quarter results. In Montreal, Dollarama Inc. releases its first-quarter results and holds its annual meeting of shareholders.

Thursday -- In Ottawa, Statistics Canada releases the industrial capacity utilization rates for the first quarter and the new housing price index for April. In Washington, U.S. Commerce Department releases retail sales data for May and business inventories for April, Labour Department releases weekly jobless claims, Freddie Mac releases weekly mortgage rates.Friday -- In Ottawa, Statistics Canada releases the monthly survey of manufacturing for April. In Montreal the Canadian Auto Workers union and Via Rail set a strike deadline at 12:01 a.m.
