This week in business:

Today -- in Brussels, finance ministers from the 17 eurozone countries try to agree on setting up a fund to pay for bank rescues in Europe. They will also discuss whether Greece needs to do more spending cuts.

Tuesday -- in Ottawa, the Bank of Canada releases the December issue of the Financial System Review. In Toronto, Scotiabank Economic and Market Outlook Conference. A panel discusses the 2014 outlook for Canada, the global economy, equity markets and foreign exchange.

Wednesday -- in Toronto, Hudson's Bay Co. will release its third-quarter results.

Thursday -- In Ottawa, Statistics Canada releases Canada's international investment position for the third quarter, the new housing price index for October and the industrial capacity utilization rates for the third quarter.

Friday -- in Ottawa, Statistics Canada releases the national balance sheet and financial flow accounts for the third quarter and the new motor vehicle sales for October. In Washington, the U.S. Labor Department releases the Producer Price Index for November.
