-- Tuesday -- In Washington, Standard & Poor's releases the S&P/Case-Shiller index of home prices for January, the U.S. Commerce Department releases new-home sales for February and the U.S. Conference Board releases the consumer-confidence index for March. In Oakville, Ont., Vicwest Inc. releases fourth-quarter and year-end results.

-- Wednesday -- In Toronto, AGF Management Ltd. releases first-quarter results before markets open and CIBC hosts its annual retail and consumer investors conference. In Montreal, Laurentian Bank of Canada president and CEO Réjean Robitaille speaks at the National Bank Financial's annual Canadian financial services conference.

-- Thursday -- In Ottawa, Statistics Canada releases the national tourism indicators for the fourth quarter of 2013. In St. John's, N.L., the government of Newfoundland and Labrador releases its 2014-15 budget. In Washington, the U.S. Labor Department releases weekly jobless claims.

-- Friday -- In Waterloo, Ont., BlackBerry will release its fourth-quarter results before markets open. In Valcourt, Que., Bombardier Recreation Products holds a conference call to discuss fourth-quarter results.
