Today -- in Ottawa, Statistics Canada releases Canada's international transactions in securities for April. In Washington, the U.S. Federal Reserve releases industrial production for May and the National Association of Home Builders releases the housing market index for June. In Toronto, the 2014 Canadian Telecom Summit begins.

Tuesday -- in Ottawa, Statistics Canada releases job vacancies, three-month average ending in March. In Washington, the U.S. Labor Department releases the consumer price index for May, the U.S. Commerce Department releases housing starts for May and the Federal Reserve policy-makers begin a two-day meeting to set interest rates.

Wednesday -- in Ottawa, Statistics Canada releases the wholesale trade figures for April, police-reported hate crimes for 2012, travel between Canada and other countries for April and Canada's population estimates for the first quarter of 2014. In Washington, the U.S. Commerce Department releases the current account trade deficit for the first quarter and the U.S. Federal Reserve policy-makers meet to set interest rates. In Toronto, RBC Wealth Management releases its World Wealth Report 2014.

Thursday -- in Waterloo, BlackBerry releases its first-quarter results and holds its annual meeting. In Toronto, Alliance Grain Traders Inc. holds its annual meeting. In Montreal, media conglomerate Quebecor Inc. holds its annual meeting. In Ottawa, Statistics Canada releases the national balance sheet and financial flow accounts for the first quarter and the employment insurance figures for April.

Friday -- in Ottawa, Statistics Canada releases the consumer price index for May and the retail trade figures for April.
