Today -- in Montreal, Canadian National Railway Co. reports its first-quarter results after markets close. In Ottawa, Statistics Canada releases manufacturing at a glance: Alberta. In Toronto, Rogers Communications releases first-quarter results. In Vancouver, Ivanhoe Energy holds its annual general meeting.

Tuesday -- in Montreal, More than 600 companies and organizations attend third edition of AEROMART, an international convention of aerospace and defence industries. In Waterloo, Ont., BlackBerry co-founder Mike Lazaridis delivers a keynote speech at University of Waterloo's Leadership Innovation Conference. In Ottawa, Statistics Canada releases the retail trade figures for February and the Bank of Canada governor Mark Carney and deputy governor Tiff Macklem appear at Commons finance committee. In Edmonton, Canadian National Railway Co. holds annual general meeting.

Wednesday -- in Ottawa, Statistics Canada releases the principal field crop areas as of March 31. In Toronto, Caterpillar dealer Toromont Industries Ltd., Lundin Mining and Sherritt International Corp will report first-quarter results and Barrick Gold will hold its annual meeting. In Calgary, Cenovus Energy, Canadian Pacific Railway and MEG Energy Corp. reports first-quarter results.

Thursday -- in Montreal, Paper products company Domtar will release its first-quarter results prior to markets open followed by a conference call. In Ottawa, Statistics Canada releases the payroll employment, earnings and hours for February and CIBC holds its annual meeting. In Toronto, Sears Canada and Toromont Industries Ltd. hold annual meetings and Alamos Gold and Shoppers Drug Mart Corp. release first-quarter results. In Calgary, Imperial Oil and AltaGas Ltd. will release first-quarter results. In Saskatoon, Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan will release its first-quarter results.

Friday -- in Ottawa, Statistics Canada releases the foreign direct investment for 2012 and the gross domestic product by industry for the provinces and territories for 2012. In Toronto, Brookfield Office Properties reports first-quarter results and gold miner Agnico-Eagle will hold its annual meeting. In Calgary, TransCanada holds its annual meeting.
