Today -- in Ottawa, the Bank of Canada releases the winter issues of the Business Outlook Survey and the Senior Loan Officer Survey. In Toronto, Corus Entertainment Inc. releases first-quarter results.
Tuesday -- in Montreal, Cogeco Inc. and Cogeco Cable Inc. hold a first-quarter earnings conference call and annual meeting. In Vancouver, oral statements on the Northern Gateway pipeline proposal will be head. In Washington, the U.S. Commerce Department releases retail sales data for December, the Labour Department releases the Producer Price Index for December and the Commerce Department releases business inventories for November.
Wednesday -- in Washington, the U.S. Labour Department releases the Consumer Price Index for December, the Federal Reserve releases industrial production for December, the National Association of Home Builders releases the housing market index for January and the Federal Reserve releases its Beige Book.
Thursday -- in Toronto, the Ontario Securities Commission holds a hearing regarding allegations of fraud at Chinese forestry company Sino-Forest Corp. In Ottawa, Statistics Canada releases Canada's international transactions in securities for November and investment in non-residential building construction for the fourth quarter.
Friday -- in Ottawa, Statistics Canada releases the monthly survey of manufacturing and employment insurance for November. In Vancouver, oral statements on the Northern Gateway pipeline proposal continue.
