Adell Matthys
has joined Children's Rehabilitation Foundation as fund development and event co-ordinator. Matthys has worked in the non-profit sector for nine years in fundraising, human resources and public relations. Her focus will be donor relations and event management.
Barb Hansford
has joined TENTEN Kitchens & Contracting. Hansford's responsibilities include design, sales and logistics. She has a B.Comm (Hons) and is a member of National Kitchen and Bath Association.
Douglas Finkbeiner and Roland Penner
will become the first honorary fellows of the Institute of Certified Management Consultants of Manitoba. Finkbeiner is a partner in the law firm Taylor McCaffrey LLP and was instrumental in assisting the institute to obtain its governing legislation. Penner, as attorney general in 1986, was responsible for the introduction of the provincial statute governing the CMC designation.
Kurt Chekosky, EIT
has joined WD Industrial Group in a technical and business development role. Checkosky previously worked with a civil engineering firm in Winnipeg. The native Manitoban has more than a decade of experience in engineering.
