has appointed Douglas Buchanan as vice-president, commercialization. Buchanan is a professor in electrical and computer engineering at the University of Manitoba and holds a Canada Research chair in microelectronic materials. Prior to joining the university, he was a researcher at IBM's T.J. Watson Research Center in New York State. He has been seconded to Innovate Manitoba for an initial period of one year.
