Signex Manufacturing Inc. just celebrated 30 years in busines and topped the year by being presented nine awards by both the Canadian and International Sign associations. Signex also received the distinction of being the recipient of more awards than any other sign company in Canada.

 

The Elmwood Community Resource Centre (ECRC) is extremely pleased to announce that Tony Roziere, chairman, and Martin Landy, executive director, were awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2012, created to mark the 60th anniversary of Her Majesty's accession to the throne. The honours were given for their dedicated service to the community of Elmwood.

 

The Delta Air Lines station at Winnipeg's Richardson International Airport has been presented with one of Delta's Station of the Year Awards for its exemplary performance in 2012. The airline said Winnipeg was one of a record 30 stations, and one of only two in Canada, to receive the award for either achieving a full-year perfect score of five on their scorecard or winning their station category in 2012. The awards were presented at a Jan. 17 ceremony in Atlanta, Ga.
