Adrian Schulz, president and CEO of Imperial Properties Corp., has become a member of FIABCI, the International Real Estate Federation. The organization is made up of more than 100 real estate associations around the world. Imperial Properties Corp. is a comprehensive condominium and commercial property management and leasing company, and one of just two members of FIABCI in all of Manitoba.

Sherry Peden has accepted the position of vice-president (academic and research) at University College of the North beginning April 1. Peden was the first to graduate from the University of Manitoba's (PhD Studies for Aboriginal Scholars) Program in 2011 from the Faculty of Education. Her dissertation focused on school administration and aboriginal education.

The Board of Governors of the University of Manitoba has approved the appointment of Andrew Konowalchuk as associate vice-president (administration), effective March 11, 2013. An accomplished capital planning professional with 15 years of experience in health-care project delivery, Konowalchuk comes to the University of Manitoba from the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, where he served as the regional director, capital planning. Konowalchuk was active on 66 projects in excess of $1 billion. His experience includes communicating and consensus-building with governments, ancillary agencies, the public and many stakeholders essential in maintaining successful public institutions.
