Phoenix Recycling Inc.

has been named 2013 Manitoba Family Enterprise of the Year by the Canadian Association of Family Enterprise-Manitoba Chapter, a not-for-profit organization that celebrates and supports the success of family businesses. The award was established in 1983 to recognize outstanding business families in Manitoba. The two other finalists recognized included: The Eastside Group of Companies and Thomas Design Builders Ltd. Phoenix Recycling Inc. will go on to represent Manitoba at the national competition in June.

has received approval by the International Coach Federation for their coach training program. ICF is the leading global organization that governs executive coaching, life coaching and leadership coaching designations. Joyce Odidison, owner of Interpersonal Wellness Services Inc. and designer of the coach training program, also holds the ICF's second-highest designation of professional certified coach. Odidison has worked tirelessly over the past four years to have her coach training program recognized at an international level. This approval means Manitobans now have a credible local and low-cost access to coach training.

is this year's recipient of the Award of Merit from Recreation Connections Manitoba. This award recognizes the Reh-Fit's innovative programming, community participation and service excellence in a state-of-the-art, world-class facility designed to enhance the quality of life of Manitobans.
