Manitoba Pork Council
presented the 2013 Pork Industry Awards at its recent annual meeting. Henervic Farms received the Swine Steward Award, presented to members of a third-generation farm family in recognition of outstanding commitment and contributions to agriculture, to the hog industry, to community and to their fellow Manitobans. Jonathan Kleinsasser of Crystal Spring Hog Equipment received the Innovation Award, presented in recognition of outstanding contributions to the provincial and global hog industry.
