financial planner and Investment advisor (and Free Press columnist), has just been awarded the FELLOW of FPSC distinction by the Financial Planning Standards Council of Canada, the group that administers the CFP designation in Canada. Created in 2011, the FELLOW OF FPSC is a distinction that formally recognizes individuals who have helped advance FPSC's vision of seeing Canadians improve their lives by engaging in financial planning. Only two Manitobans were recognized in 2013. FPSC will recognize all FELLOW of FPSC recipients during Financial Planning Week in November of this year.
The Manitoba Athletic Therapists Association
is proud of the certified athletic therapists who received awards at the 2013 Canadian Athletic Therapists Association's national conference. Winnipeg's Ben Trunzo, certified athletic therapist (CAT(C)) was named the 2013 outstanding educator at this year's Annual Canadian Athletic Therapists Association (CATA) Conference in Toronto. The CATA also presented The Winnipeg Jets Therapy Staff (Rob Millette, Lee Stubbs, Mark Grehan, and Brad Shaw) with the CATA Merit Life Saving Award for their work in managing the injury of Jets player Zach Redmond.
