Diane Lambert Shack
is the new director, major gifts and planned giving, at Misericordia Health Centre Foundation. She will lead the fundraising strategy for all major and planned gifts, as well as securing the final gifts of Misericordia's current capital campaign. Shack has a broad fundraising, marketing, communications and public relations background, having worked at the Lung Association of Manitoba, St. Boniface Hospital Foundation, DASCH Foundation, The Nature Conservancy of Canada, and most recently at Macdonald Youth Services.

received the Hilda Tottle Award at the Osteoporosis Canada-Manitoba Chapter's public forum entitled Breaking News on Broken Bones. This award, named for one of the original chapter board members, honours a volunteer who is committed to raising awareness about osteoporosis. McCaffrey is especially eager to let people know osteoporosis is not just a woman's disease. It is also a serious health issue for men. The award was presented by Hilda's granddaughter, Cindra LeClerc.
The Elmwood High School Legacy Fund
