Richardson Pioneer is donating $100,000 to the town of Minnedosa for the expansion and development of new baseball diamonds in the southwestern Manitoba community.
Minnedosa was one of three Prairie communities selected by Richardson Pioneer to receive $100,000 each to commemorate the company's 100th year in business this year. The others are Whitewood, Sask. and Falher, Alta.
"We are very excited to make a difference in these three communities and help create a legacy that will benefit future generations," said Curt Vossen, president and CEO of Richardson Pioneer's parent company, Winnipeg-based Richardson International Ltd.
