  • Print

Grocery shoppers now have another place to go when it comes to purchasing liquor. The newest Liquor Mart Express location opened in the Real Canadian Superstore at Gateway Road and McLeod Avenue in East Kildonan Friday morning.

The store-within-a-store is 1,100 square feet in size and features more than 500 of the top-selling wines, spirits and beers.

"After months of preparations, we are thrilled to open our newest Liquor Mart Express store," said Robert Holmberg, vice-president of liquor operations for Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries.

"We look forward to offering shoppers the convenience of purchasing their groceries and beverage alcohol in one location."

There are five Express locations in Manitoba.
