Torontonian dies while descending Mount Everest
KATMANDU, Nepal -- A Canadian has died pursuing her dream of scaling Mount Everest.
Torontonian Shriya Shah-Klorfine, 33, who was born in Katmandu, died descending from the summit Saturday in what were called as overcrowded conditions.
"She died in the pursuit of her dreams, and with the satisfaction of having achieved them," said her husband, Bruce Klorfine.
"Nothing is impossible in this world, even the word 'impossible' says I'M POSSIBLE'!" Shah-Klorfine wrote on her website.
