'Getting on With the Rest of your Life after Stroke' is a research project studying activity programs for stroke survivors who live in the community. Longitudinal (5 years long) research study on older drivers. Men and women, 70 years of age and over, are eligible to participate. The main purpose of the study is to determine the best tests that could be used by physicians to assess older driver safety. Each subject will annually receive $10 for the 2 1/2 to 3 hour assessments and their overall participation in the study. Winnipeg Children's Access Agency is a non-profit organization who has helped to facilitate contact between 150 children and their family members in a safe, neutral, child focused environment. If you have background in social work, family studies, sociology, etc. WCAA is looking for you to volunteer as a Visitation Monitor to facilitate visits in a supervisory role 3-4 times a month.
