  • Corrective to Feb. 1 story on Alberta logging protest

    PINCHER CREEK, Alta. - The Canadian Press erroneously reported in a story Feb. 1 that Gord Petersen was one of four protesters arrested when they refused to leave the site of a logging protest in Alberta. In fact, Petersen had been served an order two days previously to leave and was not arrested when RCMP moved in.

  • Correction: Super Bowl-Chimp Ads story

    CHICAGO - In a Jan. 31 story about a zoo's complaints over a company's use of chimpanzees in a television ad set to air on Super Bowl Sunday, The Associated Press erroneously reported that CareerBuilder.com said the American Humane Society watched the filming to ensure the animals were treated with respect. The company actually said someone from the American Humane Association watched the filming.
