Jays slugger Jose Bautista to grace 'MLB 12 The Show' video game cover

TORONTO - Toronto Blue Jay slugger Jose Bautista has been chosen cover athlete for the Canadian edition of the "MLB 12 The Show" video game.

It marks the first time the game has had a separate cover athlete for the Canadian edition. The American game will feature Boston Red Sox first baseman Adrian Gonzalez.

Others affiliated with the game are Minnesota Twins catcher Joe Mauer, Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia, Philadelphia Phillies first baseman Ryan Howard, and New York Mets third baseman David Wright.

The game is scheduled for release March 6 for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
