— Mychael Danna of Toronto, best original score and best original song, for "Life of Pi"
— Yan England of Montreal, best live action short film, for "Henry"
— Mino Jarjoura of Toronto (with Bryan Buckley), best live-action short film, for "Asad"
— Montreal-based Ariel Nasr (with Sam French), best live-action short film, for "Buzhkashi Boys"
— Jim Erickson of Salt Spring Island, B.C., (with Rick Carter), best production design, for "Lincoln"
— Vancouver-based Guillaume Rocheron (with Bill Westenhofer, Erik-Jan De Boer and Donald R. Elliott), best visual effects, "Life of Pi"
