Police: death toll from plane crash in Germany up to 4, 1 person still missing

BERLIN - German police say the death toll in a small plane crash near Frankfurt has risen to four.

Offenbach police spokesman Josef Michael Roesch said rescue workers discovered a fourth body amid the debris Friday.

He says one of the five people who was aboard the Cessna plane is still missing as rescue workers continue to search.

Police had no immediate information on the victim's identity or the cause of the crash.

The small business jet was on a flight from the Austrian city of Linz with the pilot, a co-pilot and three passengers aboard. It crashed and burst into flames late Thursday as it tried to land at the Egelsbach airstrip south of Frankfurt.
