Three found dead in Stittsville, Ont., home; police say deaths 'suspicious'

STITTSVILLE, Ont. - Police are investigating the deaths of three people in a home in the Ottawa suburb of Stittsville.

Investigators have not released any information about the victims, except to say the deaths are being treated as suspicious.

However, a spokesman for the Ottawa fire department says two children and one adult were found at the two-storey detached house.

Marc Messier says the firefighters who were first on the scene at about 5:30 p.m. EDT were ‘‘visibly distraught by what they had witnessed.‘‘

Police have not yet released any information on the ages of genders of the victims or the circumstances of the deaths.
