Fourth suspect arrested in assault
On July 15 or 16 of 2004, a woman was allegedly assaulted by four men in the 100 block of Simkin Drive. The incident was captured on videotape but the tape wasnt turned over to police for investigation until last October.
The tape was handed over to police after it was found while one of the accuseds homes was being cleaned out.
Police had already arrested Charles Redato Collantes, 24, from Winnipeg, Jeffrey Lee Tongol, 28, from Burnaby, B.C., and Mark Sarte, 24, from Calgary in connection with the assault.
The fourth man has not been named, but he was arrested yesterday by Division 12 detectives, police said.
