Woman killed in boat incident
A 32-year-old Pauingassi First Nation woman is dead after she fell out of a boat and was run over by the craft.
Little Grand Rapids RCMP said on Saturday the woman and a 42-year-old man, also from Pauingassi, were boating on Family Lake when she fell overboard on Friday at about 4:30 p.m.
RCMP said the woman's body was found at the scene. Police are not releasing her name.
A man is facing several charges including impaired operation of a boat causing death.
The man is being detained in custody and RCMP are continuing to investigate.
