14-year-old nabbed after robbery of another teen
A 14-year-old boy is in custody after he robbed another teen Sunday afternoon near Notre Dame Avenue and Toronto Street.
Winnipeg Police said a 14-year-old boy was walking in the area just after 3 p.m. when he was approached by another 14-year-old boy, who threatened him with pepper spray and demanded several personal items.
Members of the WPS street crime unit were in the area at the time, saw the robbery and chased and caught the suspect.
The boy is being detained at the Manitoba Youth Centre, where he faces a variety of charges.
