Tanya Nepinak’s daughter, Jasmine, 11, is one fan looking forward to seeing Justin Bieber in concert Thursday in Winnipeg.

She received two tickets today from Winnipeg businessman Allan McLeod, who donated four tickets to the concert after he viewed a video by Jasmine and her father.

The YouTube video is the centrepiece of an Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs campaign for a national inquiry into the disappearance and murder of aboriginal women in Canada. The AMC drew from a list of people who posted on their Facebook page to award the other pair of donated concert tickets.

Tanya Nepinak disappeared a year ago and a police search for her body at the Brady Road landfill earlier this month failed to turn up anything.

McLeod is president and CEO of the Tribal Council Investment Group, a First Nations-owned conglomerate based in Winnipeg.
