  • Print

An early morning raid in Winnipeg led to three arrests and the seizure of drugs and a gun.

Police said in a press release that the street crime unit recently became involved in an investigation regarding the dealing of drugs out of a residence. Just before 2 a.m. today, Winnipeg police with the assistance of the tactical unit executed a search warrant at a home in the 800 block of Aberdeen Avenue.

Police said they seized a 12-gauge shotgun and ammunition, nine rocks of crack cocaine, one Oxycontin tablet, 18 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Robert Mitchell Brown, 23, Megan Ednie, 21, and Matthew Joseph Hollohan, 30, have each been charged with several drug and firearm-related offences and held in custody, police said.
