A 64-year-old woman is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle, Winnipeg police say.
Emergency crews were sent to the area of Pembina Highway and Plaza Drive Tuesday around 10 p.m.
Police said the woman was walking east across Pembina when she was struck by a vehicle travelling northbound.
The driver of the vehicle stopped and was present when police arrived.
The investigation is continuing by members of the Central Traffic Unit. Anyone with information who has not yet spoken with police is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-6271.
