A blaze in Winnipeg's West End that caused substantial damage to three homes also uncovered a significant marijuana grow-op.
In one of the three residences in the 500 block of Home Street that were affected by the blaze, officials discovered the operation. Police obtained a search warrant, seizing 591 marijuana plants with an estimated street value of $661,920, as well as grow operation equipment valued at $12,000.00.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation continues.
