Ladies and gentlemen, start your sunscreens.
After disappointing us for the better part of two months, Mother Nature is attempting to make up for it this week (perhaps Mother's Day has put her in a good mood).
Today’s forecast calls for sunny skies with a high of 15 C in Winnipeg, but the mid-summer temperatures will begin in earnest tomorrow.
Monday will be pretty windy - gusting to 60 km/h to start the day – but with a scorching high of 26 C, most of us likely won’t notice.
We’ll probably notice the showers on Tuesday and the high of 25 C, but it will be nothing but sun taking us through to the Victoria Day long weekend. Wednesday is expected to be 22 C, Thursday 23 C, Friday 25 C and Saturday 24 C.
