ATV thefts end in 34 charges against teens

Two teens are facing 34 charges after four all-terrain vehicles were stolen, RCMP report.

The thefts were reported early Canada Day — three quads had been stolen from the Portage la Prairie area and one was stolen from the Westbourne area. With the assistance of Amaranth RCMP, D Division Police Dog Services and Sandy Bay Dakota Ojibway Police Service, police were able to locate and arrest the suspects and recover the stolen quads.

No further information is available. Police continue to investigate.
