Marina Stephenson Kerr and Brooke Palsson lead the pack with two nominations apiece for the 2014 ACTRA Manitoba Awards, which will be handed out Sept. 19 at the Metropolitain Entertainment Centre.

The awards go to outstanding performances by Manitoba actors in theatrical film and television productions.

Stephenson Kerr received nods for performances in My Awkward Sexual Adventure and in the Lifetime TV drama Prosecuting Casey Anthony. Palsson received her nominations for her work in the film Euphoria and the HBO Canada series Less Than Kind.

Here is the full list of nominees for the four awards up for grabs:

Most Outstanding Performance by a Female Artist — Theatrical

Kassidy Love Brown, Euphoria; Doreen Brownstone, Silent Night; Sarah Constible, Euphoria; Marina Stephenson Kerr, My Awkward Sexual Adventure; Brooke Palsson, Euphoria.

Most Outstanding Performance by a Male Artist — Theatrical

Darcy Fehr, Euphoria; Adam Hurtig, Curse of Chucky; John B. Lowe, Silent Night; Lee Major, Violets Are Blue; Stephen Eric McIntyre, The Good Lie.

Most Outstanding Performance by a Female Artist — TV

Arden Alfonso, The Christmas Heart; Marina Stephenson Kerr, Prosecuting Casey Anthony; Brooke Palsson, Less Than Kind; Nancy Sorel, Less Than Kind; Ali Tataryn, Mr. Hockey: The Gordie Howe Story.

Most Oustanding Performance by a Male Artist — TV

Cruise Brown, The Christmas Heart; Paul Essiembre, The Christmas Heart; Tom Keenan, Bunks; Mike O’Brien, Less Than Kind; Ross McMillan, Less Than Kind.
