The Arlington Street Bridge will be closed to vehicle traffic Monday, July 15 to Saturday, Aug. 31 while repair work is carried out on the bridge.
The City of Winnipeg announced the closure will begin at 6 a.m. on Monday. The east sidewalk will remain open.
The bridge, which carries vehicle and pedestrian traffic over the Canadian Pacific Railway tracks, is being closed for repairs.
Work on the bridge will include repairs to the deck overlay and structural steel as well as general maintenance.
Alternate routes include the McPhillips Street underpass and the Slaw Rebchuk Bridge.
