Arrest made in downtown stabbing

Winnipeg police have made an arrest in a stabbing incident at a downtown patio last month.

Henry Le, 24, of Winnipeg has been charged and detained for his alleged involvement in a stabbing in the area of Carlton Street and Graham Avenue on Aug. 21.

The investigation revealed that a 19-year-old man was standing on the patio about 1 a.m. when he was approached by a group of males. The victim was punched by one male, and stabbed in the lower body by another.

A second arrest is pending. The investigation continues.
