Autopsy ordered for man who may have been stabbed

The homicide unit is investigating the death of a 39-year-old man who appears to have been stabbed.

He was found about 6:30 p.m. Friday in the 500 block of Sargent Avenue, but was pronounced dead in hospital.

Police are not releasing his name, patrol Sgt. Monica Stothers said this morning.

An autopsy is pending.
