  • Print

A Winnipeg gang member is giving police little information about a vicious weekend attack that landed him in hospital.

The 17-year-old was found suffering from cuts to his face and a stab wound to the chest Friday night outside an Aberdeen Avenue home.

Sources told the Free Press the man’s injuries include a severed tip of his nose and a punctured lung. He was originally listed in life-threatening condition but has now been upgraded to stable.

No arrests have been made. A police spokesperson confirmed Tuesday they are continuing to investigate but said the victim has been unco-operative so far about what transipired.
