Bisons unveil schedule

  • Print

The University of Manitoba Bisons football team will have some fancy new digs this season, and now, with their full schedule unveiled, they're hoping fans make plans to fill the stadium for their four home games.

The team released their 2013 season schedule on Tuesday. The season starts with a Friday night game on Aug. 30 at 7 p.m. It's the first time the team has been able to play evening games, as U of M stadium lacked enough lighting to keep the game going after dark.

The Bisons will play the Alberta Golden Bears, Saskatchewan Huskies and University of British Columbia Thunderbirds three times this season. Here, the team's complete schedule:

Home - Fri. Aug. 30: Alberta Golden Bears - Investors Group Field 7 p.m.

Home - Sat. Sept. 7: Saskatchewan Huskies - Investors Group Field 5 p.m.

Away - Sat. Sept. 14: UBC Thunderbirds

Away - Fri. Sept. 20: Calgary Dinos

Home - Sat. Sept. 28: Regina Rams - Investors Group Field 1 p.m.

Home - Sat. Oct. 5: UBC Thunderbirds - Investors Group Field 1 p.m.

Away - Fri. Oct. 18: Saskatchewan Huskies

Away - Sat. Oct. 26: Alberta Golden Bears
