Boy struck by vehicle upgraded to stable condition
WINNIPEG -- The 13-year-old boy rushed to hospital after being hit by a van Thursday in Fort Richmond has been upgraded from critical to stable condition, according to the police today.
The boy was struck by a southbound Pontiac van, driven by a 44-year-old woman, police said.

The collision occurred at about 3 p.m. near the intersection of Pembina Highway and Killarney Avenue.
The boy was taken to Children’s Hospital.
Police continue to investigate the collision.
