Brisk, grey day but temperatures rising for weekend

If we can just get through today...

Environment Canada is calling for cloud cover for much of today and a steady temperature of -13 C until the evening when some snow is forecast. From two to four centimetres of snow is expected to fall, ending Friday morning.

The mercury rises to -3 C on Friday, with the clouds continuing and some flurries. The wind will pick up to about 30 km/h from the south.

Highs of around 0 C are expected throughout the weekend, while on Monday we could even see rain or wet snow.

There's isn't much sunshine in the forecast until mid week.
