Bundle up for chilly Saturday

It’s a chilly start to what is predicted to be a cool day today.

The mercury dropped to a low of -5 C at Winnipeg’s airport this morning and is expected to slowly rise to a high of 12 C today. Normal temperatures at this time of year are a maximum of 16 C and a low of 4 C.

Environment Canada says there is a 40 per cent chance of showers in the morning before clearing in the afternoon.

Temperatures tonight are expected to drop to -2 C before reaching a high of 16 C under sunny skies.
