Camping area, cabin reservations open Monday
Bring out the camping equipment, because Manitoba's provincial parks are opening for business.
Manitobans can reserve cabins, yurts, and group areas starting Monday, March 25.
Gord Mackintosh, minister of conservation and water stewardship, announced the opening Friday.
"The opening day for cabins, yurts and group-use areas reservations has been moved from the first Monday in February to streamline operations, while still offering campers the opportunity to avoid the April rush," said Mackintosh in a press release.
Reservations in person can be arranged at 200 Saulteaux Crescent in Winnipeg, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Reservations over the phone can be done by calling 204-948-3333 or toll-free 1-888-482-2267. Opening day the call centre will be open at 7 a.m. but after it will open at 9 a.m.
