Can't beat it: Michael Jackson musical bio coming to MTS Centre

A musical biography of Michael Jackson’s life will be staged at the MTS Centre on April 13.

It was announced this morning that, after a 2011 world tour to South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and South Asia, the musical biography Michael Jackson HIStory will tour Canada for the first time and Winnipeg is on the agenda.

Tickets for the Winnipeg show go on sale March 4 at 10 a.m.

The show takes fans back to the Jackson 5 era before continuing on to the current decade. In all, the show features more than 20 songs performed live by Kenny Wizz, a band and dancers.

Jackson was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Hollywood Walk of Fame and Songwriters Hall of Fame. He held thirteen Grammy awards and 26 American Music Awards including "Artist of the Century".
