  • Print

One man was taken to hospital following a single vehicle crash near Bissett this morning.

STARS air ambulance was dispatched to the scene at 6:35 a.m., where a vehicle had rolled over on the highway and landed upside down in a ditch filled with water.

According to a STARS spokesman, the four males inside the vehicle were submerged in the water, but managed to get out of the vehicle. A passing motorist later drove them to the nearby nursing station.

One of the men had multiple injuries and the air ambulance service flew him to the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg.

There was no update on the man’s condition or the health of the other men.
